Site cuts in Clyde North
A Melton crew for the cut, the spoil and the trenches. Levels to the plan, scope on the quote.
Quote the soil report, not a corridor average
Clyde North does not sit on the same uniform basalt plain as Melton and Werribee. The southeast guide puts parts of Clyde North on heavy clays near the old Koo Wee Rup swamp margins. Two streets in one estate can carry different soil classes, so the quote should follow your geotechnical report.
Heavier clays cut slower when wet and may need a thicker compacted platform under the slab. The southeast also catches more rain than the western plains, and parts of Clyde North hold a high water table through winter. That is a programming fact: the day we dig has to suit the ground, not a date picked in January.
Estate lots in the growth corridor still look familiar in scope — detailed cuts around 200–400 mm and spoil that has to leave site. From Melton this is a longer haul than Tarneit. The quote includes the travel. Send the soil report with the cut sheet.

Clyde North questions
Why do you ask for the soil report?
The southeast guide says two streets can differ. A corridor average is the wrong basis for a Clyde North quote.
Do you still take southeast jobs from Melton?
Yes, when the diary and the haul make sense. Travel is on the quote, not treated as if the lot were next to the depot.
